If I could swap every pair of pants I own with jeans by Cate Holstein, I would do it in a heartbeat and then join a waitlist to do it again in my next life. I wouldn’t be the first to tell you how incredible Khaite denim is, but I’m here to share how you can shop for them without a layaway plan (lol).
Shopping for Khaite denim online can be a challenge since many online retailers, including TRR, do not list the style name of the jeans in the item posting. So, how do you tell if you’re looking at a pair of Danielles, Kerries, or something else?
It’s All About The Inseams
TRR allows you to refine your search in various ways (designer, size, condition, price, etc.), but since there isn’t an option to search by style name, we have to look at the inseam length. Inseam length might be the most important factor to consider when looking for Khaite denim on TRR.
Once you know which style you want, the games begin. I’ve been on the hunt for the Danielle in Dayton (no stretch version) and the Kerrie in Fargo.
Kerrie Jeans

With a $460 retail price, they were out of budget for me. I turned to TRR and found them fairly quickly. Here’s a link to the exact pair I purchased as a reference for when you’re shopping.

On the Khaite website, they list the inseam of the Kerrie as 29 inches. So with that and some context clues (straight leg, “artfully ravaged hems”, and a blue wash), I saved 2-3 pairs that I thought fit the bill and ultimately added the pair in the best condition to my cart. I am familiar enough with the different Khaite jean styles to know what I’m looking for, but it’s still a bit of a guessing game. Inseam measurement on TRR is close, but not an exact measurement. Lots of the Khaite jeans on TRR have a shorter inseam and aren’t current season styles. In my opinion, inseam length is a great teller of whether you’re getting the pair you’re looking for—with the newer season styles generally having a longer inseam.
Danielle Jeans
Undeniably the most popular Khaite jeans, also known as Kendall Jenner’s favorite jeans, are the Danielle. I’ve been on the hunt for the original Dayton wash with no stretch, and waited for a pair to pop up on TRR.
Again, here’s a link to the exact pair I purchased as a reference.

The inseam on the Danielle is listed as 33 inches on the Khaite website. It’s very, very long. So when you’re searching on TRR, it should be obvious if you’re looking at a pair of Danielles or not. The inseam should be listed as 31-34 inches unless they’ve been hemmed by a previous owner.
Final Takeaway
Khaite lists the style name of the jeans on the inside tag—that’s where you’ll be able to check if the pair you bought is the style you were looking for. If you pull the trigger and the jeans you ordered end up being a different style than the ones you had hoped for, TRR has a pretty generous return policy (free in-store returns, and a 14-day window to make returns). I’ve been late on my returns and they’ve very kindly accepted them every time, but that’s another story. Some items are listed as final sale but that rule doesn’t seem to be very hard and fast as they’ve always accepted final sale returns for me—I think being honest and kind about why they’re not working helps!

I saved some pairs of what I think are the Kerrie and Danielles on TRR. These are currently still available as of the time I published this, so someone get them before I do.
