Having styled dozens of bridal clients over the years, I’ve come to accept a truth about the wedding wardrobe industry—not all garments are created equal! I apologize if this is controversial, but cream rises to the top and eventwear is no exception. When I’m working with my bridal clients (and even for my own wedding), the first challenge is always sifting through “the rest” in search of those rich, delicious pieces.
Along the way, I’ve collected some (well, okay, many) beautiful bridal and eventwear pieces—mostly gowns—thinking they’d be perfect for a client one day. I’ve also held onto garments from clients who decided to go a different direction and garments that clients have (gently) worn for an event. Years later, my closet is bursting at the seams and a baby is coming!
One day, I’d love to have a studio where I can showcase and offer these pieces to clients and shoppers. But for now, I’ve decided to offer for sale a small collection of pieces that I love so much, and know deserve to see the light of day outside my apartment. Most of these pieces are gowns, in perfectly new or near-new condition.

LOOK 1 / Brock Collection Gown
The black version of this gown was seen in Brock Collection’s Spring 2018 Collection. Delicately cut from ivory chantilly lace with gorgeous puffed sleeves. Made in Italy / 100% silk lining.

LOOK 2 / Narciso Rodriguez Gown
This rare Narciso Rodriguez silk charmeuse peplum gown drapes on the bias for the ultimate wedding guest look. This piece was one of the nine re-released archival looks from Narciso Rodriguez’s 20th anniversary collection with Barneys. This over-the-head gown is 100% silk, lined with 100% silk.
A few notes from Vogue:
When Narciso Rodriguez staged the first show for his eponymous label in Milan, for Spring 1998, it was mayhem. The designer, who was in his mid-30s at the time, was known around town for his work at Cerruti and around the world for the sublime wedding dress he designed for his friend Carolyn Bessette Kennedy. “One photographer had to be taken to the hospital,” Rodriguez remembers of the show. “It was that kind of frenzy.”
To mark 20-years in business, Narciso Rodriguez will be re-releasing nine archival looks from the span of his career—ranging from Spring 2003-Fall 2013—with Barneys.

LOOK 3 / Marina Moscone Set
This plisse sarong top and skirt was part of Marina Moscone’s Spring 2023 Collection. I’m selling it as a set! The trellis-inspired flowers were stamped by hand onto unevenly pleated ivory organza. It’s just so romantic.

LOOK 4 / Ralph Lauren Runway Gown
As seen on Bella Hadid at the Fall 2022 Ralph Lauren runway show, the Katerina Gown is a reinterpretation of a Fall 2011 Collection dress. The gown is made of stretch-infused jersey, creating a beautiful drape. The asymmetrical cutout neckline and open back make this piece feel so modern and fresh.
Condition: Worn by a previous bridal client. Has been professionally cleaned. No visible signs of wear

LOOK 5 / Stella McCartney Gown
Stella McCartney first showed this Jazz Age-inspired 'Bernice' gown at her Pre-Fall '17 collection in a stunning red. Her Spring '19 version is cut from lightweight silk-mousseline adorned with gold sequins. The sheer panel detail at the hem adds a perfect feminine touch.

This V-neck gown with a stunning train has a boned bralette for structure, an internal waistband belt with three positions, and a fully lined skirt. This is a sample (with Danielle Frankel brand tag) and not part of an existing Danielle Frankel collection.

This dress is BRAND NEW! Cady square neck gown with chantilly and corded lace appliqué sleeves.

This is a REALLY SPECIAL sample that I purchased at a Danielle Frankel sample sale. The hem was unfinished, so I had my bridal tailor fix that. It’s breathtaking. I can’t think of a more iconic civil ceremony dress.

This Nina Ricci maxi dress is designed with sweeping velvet ties fastened into bows at the shoulders. It's made from panels of satin and gently skims your figure. The bias skirt gives it a vintage look.

LOOK 14 / Brock Collection Runway Gown
This STUNNING Brock Collection gown was seen during the Spring 2019 runway show. In 2018, Harper’s Bazaar shared this gown as one of the best off-the runway bridal looks from that year’s NYFW.
In their show notes, the designers said they had considered “this notion of raw American romance.” “We wanted it to be a breath of fresh air, and for [it to] feel alive and courageous,” Vassar said backstage post-show. “Reading about and looking at Georgia O’Keeffe’s work and how she approached it — expressing that [which] she couldn’t find words for, a feeling of wanting to do something vibrant and alive.”

LOOK 15 / Brock Collection Bustier Dress
This satin-twill midi has beautiful mesh-lace ruffles and is fitted with a bustier-style bodice. The ruffle hem makes the dress feel so romantic. I would love to see this as a getting-ready look for a bride, or a sexy bachelorette look.

Are the prices negotiable?
At the moment, I am firm on pricing as every piece in this drop is priced below retail.
Do you have more sizing available?
I know this first drop only offers very limited sizing and that’s because many of these pieces were intended for a client or only came in one size when I purchased it. In my next drop(s), I will offer a wider range of sizes!
